The Background on MX Donations
In 2004, while still in college Eddie Bard wanted a way to fund his own racing and give back to the sport he loved. After countless hours of deep thought he realized how he could do this: Take donations of unwanted motocross related items and sell them on eBay or give them to riders in need. At first Eddie’s friends benefited the most, but as MX Donations’ exposure grew Eddie began to help riders across the country. MX Donations riders have qualified for many supercross main events and outdoor nationals.
Over the years MX Donations has raised thousands of dollars in cash, gear and parts for under privileged racers. Today MX Donations has grown to support and fund raise for privateer and amateur motocross racers, injured riders, life threatening illnesses and they even send moto care packages to troops overseas.
The info on MX Donations’ #whyweride gloves
Price At $19.99 the #whyweride glove is an unbeatable value. Right now, the only place to buy them online is MX Donations.
Colors There are 3 bright color options – blue, yellow and green
Sizes Currently MX Donations has 3 sizes available – Small, Medium and Large
Fit I typically wear XL gloves, so I was concerned when I found out the #whyweride glove only went up to size Large. Surprise! The #whyweride gloves fit like a glove. They definitely stretch to fit, but I also think they are a bit larger than most brand’s gloves.
Comfort If there is one thing other than price that the #whyweride glove has going for it, it’s comfort, They are lightweight, form fitting and vent very well. Ventilation is thanks to the thin material they are made of and the perforated vent material at the sides of the fingers. When riding in the #whyweride gloves it really feels like you’re wearing nothing at all.
Durability With the low price and light weight of these gloves there are obvious reasons to be concerned about durability. To my delight, I have had no issues at all. These gloves have held up very well.
Grip These are the first gloves I have actually noticed the silicone on the palm pointer and middle fingers helping gain traction on the grips, clutch and front brake. The palm features a single layer of leather (or synthetic) and no blister-causing padding for an unobstructed grip.
Who should buy the MX Donations #whyweride glove?
Everyone! But really the #whyweride glove is perfect for people who want to support a great cause, are on a budget, like lightweight gloves, like thin gloves or are minimalists. I’m not sure they have won me over as my favorite moto glove yet (I prefer a slightly heavier glove than the #whyweride glove tyipically), but they are by far my favorite mountain biking gloves.
