Alli sports recently released “How to Scrub with Kyle Cunningham”. Scrubbing is something that interests most motocross riders. It is a tricky technique. When performed correctly it looks cool, keeps you lower on jumps, and improves your lap times. When performed wrong it makes you look like a complete goon, is a waste of energy and doesn’t do anything for your lap times. We’re gonna start off with Kyle Cunningham’s video and find a few more to make sure we get you as much info as possible on how to scrub.
For a little more info let’s see what Trey Canard has to say about “how to scrub”. Everyone can agree that Trey is one of the best scrubbers racing these days. He does a bit better job of describing how to scrub.
99.9% of riders will improve their lap times more from practicing corners than they will from scrubbing. This is not a technique for beginners and could potentially be dangerous. Don’t go out and hurt yourself attempting to scrub.
Here’s on more “how to scrub” video for you from former pro Clark Stiles. He does a great job explaining how to scrub and describing a jump that will be safe for you to learn on.
